Francis "Frank" G. JohnsonMarch 20, 2016Francis "Frank" Johnson, 75 of Syracuse, passed away on Sunday. He was a graduate of Vocational High School. He was an avid fisherman. Frank was a skilled shoe maker, machinist for Valenite Metals in Dewitt before becoming disabled in 1981. He was a huge advocate for Injured Worker's of New York.He is predeceased by his son, Michael H. Johnson, March 25, 2010.He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara J. Johnson; a daughter, Lorre (Jim) Begay; a son, Mark (Deanna) Johnson; a granddaughter, Amber K. Woytan; a grandson, Ryan M. Begay; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7PM at New Comer Funeral Home.
