I met Otis at a young age as I became introduced to trapshooting. As a new shooter Otis was a BIG inspiration to me although sadly, I never told him. Some of my fondest memories were around him at the local Turkey Shoots, State Shoots, and Grand American. Otis was a fierce competitor, mentor, and a jokester. But I admire him for being a true gentleman and an ambassador to the shooting sports. I will miss him dearly. I was very close to my father as were his children to him. My prayers to all...

The Special people in our lives are really never gone. They have a cherished place in our hearts where they will always be remembered for the love they shared and the happiness they brought. We are thinking of you with the passing of Otis and hoping you will find comfort in your special memories.

My condolences to the family. I remember Mr. Cochran when he used to umpire the American Legion games. He was a quality person and a very fine umpire.
