I heard about the loss of Palmer and my heart aches for you. If I could I would bring a day when your happy memories of him are stronger than your sadness of him passing.
Please accept my deepest sympathies and condolences for you loss.

“So sad to hear of the passing of Palmer. He was a dear friend of mine that I met in the gym many years ago. We had kept in touch as he lived close to me in Herriman. He was always glad to see me as we got older and he loved his friends and family dearly. He will sorely be missed by all that knew him. We had many laughs together over the years. Our condolences and prayers to his family in this trying time.

We are very heart broken to announce the passing of Palmer Douglas Helsten on April 28, 2023. He died at the age of 54 in his Herriman home. Palmer was born September 5, 1968 to Don Luce and Anna Helsten in Ogden, Utah. Palmer married Jolene Ernest in 1999 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were blessed with 3 children Braedon, Taylor, and Aspen.
Palmer worked really hard to build his own company Integrity Remodeling and Construction. Palmers beloved friend Colt Mackey and Palmers son Braedon worked beside him for many years.
Palmer loved snakes and just enjoyed nature overall. He loved his 2 dogs Hazel and Tyrone.
Palmer was known for his great corky, unique (sometimes foul) sense of humor. Palmer never tried to make himself into something he wasn’t. He had a kind soul and he loved deeply. Palmer loved and was so proud of his children. He took the weight of the world on his shoulders and was always willing to help anyone at the drop of a hat especially his family.
Palmer is survived by his wife Jolene, children Braedon, Taylor, and Aspen. his sister Audria Helsten, his mother Anna Helsten, his father Don Luce, sister Christina, brother Gary and many, many friends
A viewing will be held Sunday, May 7, 2023 from 1:00 to 2:45 PM and the sharing of Memories starting at 3:00PM at Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 South 2200 West, Riverton, Utah.
The love for nature you had
When the rest of the world was bad,
You always looked up and laughed
The birds looking at you and asked
“The songs we sing are for you,
Why are you feeling so blue?”
Sometimes you made out ears ring
The sadness, the fear, the pain,
Was too much for your soul to bare
But your family, your friends, your loved ones
You don’t know how much we all care
The stories you told and all of your hugs
Your creations you made out of love,
Your laughter of joy and happiness
Always gave smiles and still will from above.
Your legacy will continue on forever-
You being one bad ass motherfucker.
