Pamela Szwajkowski-Jones, age 73 of Lake Station passed away August 21, 2025. She was born on August 31, 1951 in Valparaiso to the late Alois and Rosemary Ray. Pam graduated from William A. Wirt High School in 1969. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 9323 and the Lake Station Democrat Club. On September 4, 1987 she married Curtis Jones at Deep River County Park in Hobart. Pam loved to travel and especially enjoyed spending her winters in Salome, Arizona.
She is survived by her husband, Curtis Jones; daughters, Tracy (Adam) Paradise, Kim (Tom) Cox, Tabitha Jones; son, Brian (Anne) Jones; grandchildren, Kacey (Chris) Cadel, Dalton Belt, Taylor (Efrain Diaz) Otero, Pete Otero, Tristan Paradise, Trey Paradise, Josh Zylo and Patience; great grandchildren, Olivia, Raelynn, Huntley, Bowen, Emerie, Brendan, Miles, Aria and Serenity; sisters, Susan Malak, Anne Ray, Connie (Randy) Nord
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Szwajkowski; and her parents, Alois and Rosemary Ray.
A memorial service for Pam will take place Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 6:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Ave., Lake Station.
