I am so sorry to hear this. I apologize for not getting over to see Pam before she passed. We were classmates but also neighbors growing up and sat, usually in the same row in church for a few years at Grace Church of the Valley, where she and her aunt Linda had both attended. I pray God's peace and comfort for all of her family.

Pamela Lynn Gartenman, of Milan, was born on March 2, 1963, a daughter to Thomas E. and Dorothy Walter Devoll, Sr. She was a 1981 graduate of Brookville High School. Pam worked for over 25 years at Batesville Casket Company in the interior department. Pam married Larry Gartenman in 2008, and he survives. She was a former member of St. Michael Church in Brookville and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Milan. She enjoyed gardening, and cooking from scratch - quite the anomaly these days. Pam loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and she had a special place in her heart for animals, especially the community cats she took care of. On Sunday, April 6, 2025, at the age of 62, Pam passed away peacefully at The Waters of Batesville.
Those surviving who will cherish Pam’s memory include her husband; Larry Gartenman; children, Thomas Devoll and Rachele’ Devoll; grandchildren, Michael, Madison and Makayla Devoll; siblings, Jacqueline (Scott) Sizemore and Tom (Maggie) Devoll and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Desirea’ and a granddaughter, Oliva.
Friends and family may gather to remember Pam on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Sunman.
