Not sure what to say?

She was our Mom, ride or die, and listening ear all in one. From riding the streets of KC to road tripping she kept us active and made life exciting - she will be more than missed!

Pam was a kind, loving person. She brought the sunshine whenever she came around. She will be dearly missed.

My deepest sympathies to Patrice Dominique; Desmond grandkids and family

Des & Dom,
My heart truly breaks for you both during this most difficult time. I will always cherish the memories I personally shared with Ms. Pam and will always remember her for being unapologetically her no matter what.
I love you both and am here if you need anything at all.

Love always,

Andre & Jennifer Taylor

My sincerest & deepest condolences first and foremost, directly to Dee and Des and the entire Mathes family. We love yall, near & far.

Pam had such a huge heart, loving spirit and no holds barred expression! Upon first meeting Pam she had so much spunk. I had never encountered a friend's mother to be so on par with understanding that we were all young adults learning, growing and trying to figure it out without judgement only speaking to her experiences of knowing what its like....

Desmond and Dominique we love you so much . Our hearts are broken we send our deepest sympathies to you , Pam was always a big part of our family and thank you for sharing her with us . We are here for you both ,
Love the Scruggs Family

My deepest sympathy Love her just recently asked her sister for her phone number ❤❤

Obituary

Pamela's Obituary

Pamela Denise Mathes was the third born to Samuel Thomas Mathes, Sr. and Lillie B. Mathes.

Pam accepted Christ at an early age in life and rededicated her life to Christ in Stanton, Tennessee in front of loved ones.  She was a firecracker, full of love, and lived her life her way, full of laughter and fun!

Pam was a loving mother. Her kids meant the world to her. Then she became a grandmother. The joy she got from those two boys was unmatched.

Pam was a great sister, auntie, and friend. She graduated from Southwestern High School in Detroit, Michigan in 1980 and spent a short time serving in the United States Army before being Honorably Discharged.

Pam's career path was in the Customer Service Collections field before her health would not allow her to continue.

Pam was preceded in death by both parents, sister, Patricia; and three brothers, Sam, Jr, Ashley, and Garry Ervin.

Pam leaves to cherish her memory two children, Dominique Mathes and Desmond Mathes Sr.; two grandsons, Desmond Mathes Jr (Desmond, Sr.) and Dodrick Mathes (Dominique); three sisters, Patrice, Adrianne, and Karen; five brothers, Timothy, Terron, Michael (Lisa), Jerry, and Jarvis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her very much. She will truly be missed.
