Pastor Jenkins was the most kind, loving, and generous pastor I ever met. We will love and miss you always.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you all in this hour. Pastor Jenkins was a consistently kind and gentle man of God who was an example to all of us who knew him. He will be greatly missed!

Pastor Chester's Obituary

Pastor Chester Jenkins, Sr., 86, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 in Beaumont, Texas.

The Celebration Service for Pastor Jenkins will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Lacy’s Temple C.O.G.I.C. (4090 Pine Street - Beaumont, Texas 77703) with burial Service to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Beaumont, Texas. under the directions of Mercy Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. and visitation on Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Church. 

Left to celebrate his life and beautiful memories, his wife of sixty-three years, Mrs. Virgie Jenkins sons, Pastor Chester Jenkins, Jr. (Deborah) of Humble, Texas; and Richard Jenkins of Katy, Texas; daughters,  Kimberly Jenkins of Beaumont, Texas, Madeline Odom (Mark, Sr.) of Marion, AR.; and Helen Jenkins of Beaumont, Texas; seventeen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and his village: four brothers, and two sisters by marriage, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, Church family and friends. 

He didn’t meet a stranger and will be missed by all that He touched in his lifetime.
