Patricia J. Cooper

Patricia J. (Poole, Winters) Cooper, 89, of Lizton passed away on Saturday January 31, 2026. Pat was born April 29, 1936, to Jay W. and Ruby E. (Cain) Poole.

Formerly married to Ted P. Winters then to D. J. Cooper, both are deceased. A sister, Linda Gash is also deceased.

She is survived by her brother, Keith Poole of Lebanon; sister Karen Brown of Jamestown; children, Joyce Engle of Charleston, IL, Alan Winters of Carmel, Cheryl Winters of Lebanon, and Danny Winters of Lizton; grandchildren, Chad (Sheena) Engle of Lebanon, Chandra (Shane) Swift of Whitestown, Christa (Nathan) Schrock of Charleston, IL, Janna (Ryan) Williamson of Lebanon, Clayton (Allison) Winters of Zionsville and Kacey Winters of Whitestown; twenty great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Old Union Cemetery, rural Jamestown, Indiana. Porter and Hunt Funeral Home & Crematory in Jamestown has been entrusted with her arrangements.
