Patricia Jones Obituary
Patricia A. "Patti" Jones, 84, of Bangor, PA, passed away Thursday, July 13th, at her residence.
Patti was born in Ackermanville, PA on October 4, 1938, a daughter of the late Joseph C. and Marion M. (Lane) Stenlake. She was the wife of Thomas "Tom" Jones. They celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary this past June. Patti was a 1956 graduate of Bangor High School. She was employed as a floor worker at A&H Sportswear in Stockertown, PA until retiring in 2000. Patti enjoyed fishing, walking, and loved dogs.
Patti was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bangor, PA.
In addition to her husband Tom, Patti is survived by a son, Bradley A. Jones and a sister, Cynthia Gassler, wife of Wilford. She was predeceased by two sisters JoAnne Cerino and Margaret Freeman.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, July 19th at Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. - Downtown Bangor, 314 S. First St., Bangor, PA. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10 to 11 AM on Wednesday, July 19th at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Ackermanville Cemetery in Ackermanville, PA. Online condolences may be offered at gaffneyparsons.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
