PATRICIA's Obituary

PATRICIA ANN NICHOLAS December 9, 1950 - October 14, 2025 Patricia Ann “Trish” Nicholas, age 74, left this land of the dying and entered the land of the living. Her battle with Parkinson’s and Dementia has ended and she is now in glory with her heavenly Father, her savior Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit.

Trish was born in Chicago, Illinois, and spent many years living in the Chicagoland area.   She and Bill enjoyed over two decades in Inverness and Crystal River, Florida (many of those years they were snowbirds and spent summer months in Westlake, Ohio).

Trish is preceded in death by her husband, William W. Nicholas, and her parents Mildred and Ray Healy.  She is survived by her children Jennifer (Chris) Homoelle and Andrew (Krista) Nicholas; grandchildren Isaac (Kali) Homoelle, Evalyn Homoelle, Adin Homoelle, Eliana Homoelle, Olivia (Kane) Mateer, Noah Nicholas, Aaron Nicholas, Caleb Nicholas; great grandchildren Ellis and Bowman Homoelle; siblings Ray Healy, Edward Healy and Mary (Steve) Smoot.

Trish was a bright light in this world, bringing joy and laughter to those around her.  She enjoyed life with her husband, Bill, for 41 years filled with boating, traveling, games, dancing and music.  She adored her faithful, furry companions throughout the years, dogs Buddy, Jeanie and Bucky. Trish treasured time with friends and family. She loved watching her grandchildren play sports and compete in speech/debate. After The Lord saved Trish, her efforts and investments of time, energy and service were focused on reading God’s Word, facilitating and attending Bible studies as well as serving and worshipping at her home church Seven Rivers Presbyterian in Florida.  As a snowbird, and more recently upon moving to Ohio, Trish attended Providence Church in Avon.  Trish was filled with the joy of The Lord and eagerly shared her hope in Jesus Christ.  As Trish most recently lived at Vitalia of North Olmsted, she desired to be a light for Christ and share Jesus with her fellow residents, staff and visitors.  She endured the difficult battle of Parkinson’s and Dementia with courage and grace.

Services will be private for the family
