Pat and I were in the class of 53. She was a friend and a delightful person. I am sorry for your loss. I can't walk much anymore so I can't attend the service but I will remember Pat fondly.

Patricia Ruth Ozeretny, 81, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016 in Shawnee.The family will be at the funeral home Thursday, August 18 from 6pm to 8pm to receive friends. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 19, 2016 at Walker Funeral Service with Dr. Steven C. Dominy officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary, 200 E. 9th St., Shawnee, OK 74801, or Lifespring Hospice, 2411 Springer Dr., Norman, OK 73069. Patricia Ruth Ozeretny was born June 3, 1935 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Vernon Musick and Ruth (Alford) Musick. She graduated from Shawnee High School in 1953. On September 24, 1955 she married Jerry E. Ozeretny. They were married over 60 years. Mrs. Ozeretny worked as a Medical Transcriptionist for the Shawnee Medical Center Clinic. She was member of University Baptist Church and the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed making and collecting porcelain dolls, sewing, and cooking. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister: Jackie Taylor, and 2 brothers: Bill and Chuck Musick.Survived by her husband, Jerry Ozeretny of Shawnee, 2 Children: Gary Ozeretny of Tecumseh, Susan Koontz and husband Greg of Keller, TX, 5 Grandchildren: Cory Ozeretny, Madison Koontz, Macy Koontz, Leland Konechney, Charmain Webb, 5 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Sister: Jenny Ware of Shawnee, And numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
