Your mother was my favorite aunt. I can still hear her laugh and see her smile. She always seemed to be in the kitchen at the cabin feeding people. My condolences on your loss and my thoughts will be with you during her services.

Patricia “Pat” Tasky, 88, Moose Lake, formerly of Cloquet and West Duluth, died Thursday, November 22, 2018 in Golden Oaks Assisted Living, Hermantown. She was born on January 20, 1930 to William and Irene Flynn in Cloquet where she grew up. Pat worked as a domestic on a dairy farm on the North Cloquet Rd. On November 17, 1948, she married Bernard “Bernie” Tasky in Cloquet. They lived in West Duluth where she worked at Halvorson Tree and Duluth Avionics. In 1978, they moved to their home on Sand Lake. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Moose Lake and the American Legion Auxiliary in Cloquet. She loved to golf, knit, paint and was very good at crafts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernie in 2008; daughter: Janice; sister: Marion Ehrman; and a brother: Gerald Flynn.
Pat will be lovingly remembered by her three children: Kathy (Roger) Clemons of Duluth; Bruce Tasky of Eagle River, AK; and John (Sheryl) Tasky of Brooklyn Park; 5 grandchildren: Jacob Clemons; Janel (Justin) Johnson, Amy (Matt) Arneson; Kelly Tasky; and Katie (Tim) Sharp; 3 great grandchildren: Lillian Clemons, Cora Clemons, and Alex Johnson; a brother: Thomas (Sue) Flynn of Cloquet; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10 am until the 11 am Funeral Mass on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 in Holy Angles Catholic Church, Moose Lake. Lunch will follow Mass. Burial will be at 2:30 PM in New Calvary Cemetery, Cloquet. Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association. The family wants to thank the staff at Golden Oaks Assisted Living in Hermantown for their loving and thoughtful care of Pat.
