Not sure what to say?

I worked with Pat at SAF Holland he was our electrician he was good at his job and had a great sense of humor. Our conversations were always lighthearted and fun. He was liked and respected by all of us. my sincerest condolences

Dear Pam,
We said a prayer for you today
and know God must have heard.
We felt the answer in our hearts,
although he spoke no word.
We didn't ask for wealth or fame,
We knew you wouldn't mind.
We asked him to send treasures
of a far more lasting kind.
We asked that he be near you
at the start of each new day.
To grant you health and blessings
and friends to share your way.
We asked for happiness for you
in all things great...

Patrick's Obituary

Mr. Patrick James Doedli, of Wright City, MO, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025, at St. Joseph Hospital West. He was born on November 6, 1956 to the late Charles and Edith (nee: Wolff) Doedli in East St. Louis, IL. Patrick had reached the age of 68 years.

One of the most beautiful chapters in Patrick's life began when he married his loving wife, Pamela. They have had 34 wonderful years together. He served our country honorably in the United States Navy. Patrick was a very laid back guy, who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed being outside cutting grass, playing in the yard, or tinkering with his vehicles. Patrick is described as the best handyman ever. He took pleasure in watching television and listening to various types of music. Patrick cherished and had a close bond with each of his beloved fur babies, Shingo, Shebia, Alex, Nick, Osa, Callie, Ben, Taz, Bonnie, Cruizer, Tango, Tucker, Sadie, Piper, Noira, and Bella; and two cats, Pogo and Libby.

Patrick is survived by his beloved wife, Pamela; three siblings, Mike, Kevin, and Sharon: one niece and one nephew, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Edith Doedli.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO, at 10:30 AM. Online condolences may be given at martinfuneral.net.
