A TIME TO BE BORN:
Patrick Perteet was born on June 17, 1946, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Perteet in Birmingham, Alabama.
A TIME TO SERVE:
He confessed Christ on May 7, 1958, and joined Macedonia 17th Street Baptist Church under the He confessed under the leadership of the late Reverend O. J. Jackson. Patrick served as a finance worker, a member of Sunday School, and a member of the Male Chorus under the leadership of Evelyn Blackmon.
A TIME TO LIVE:
Patrick was educated in the Birmingham School system. He attended Lincoln Elementary School and graduated from Parker High School, Class of 1964. He served in the United States Army where he fought in the Vietnam War. Patrick received an educational degree from Lawson State Community College in Professional Barbering. Patrick was employed by Golden Flakes and retired after 38 years of service.
A TIME TO LOSE:
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie, Sr. and Asaline Perteet; daughter, LaWanda Perteet; sisters, Mary Williams and Glenda Howard; brothers, Lonnie Perteet, Jr., Leroy Perteet and Irvin Perteet.
A TIME TO MOURN:
Patrick leaves to cherish his memory: daughter, Temeka (Demercado) Dandy of Decatur, GA; granddaughters, Keaunna George and Divyn Dandy of Decatur, GA and grandson, KeAuntrey George of Birmingham, AL; sisters, Patricia Perteet and Ella Perteet of Birmingham, AL, Roxie Perteet of Detroit, MI and Joyce Perteet-Lake of Oakland, CA; brother, Robert Perteet of Detroit, MI; godbrother, Albert of Millersville, MD; aunt, Hannah Mitchell of Warrensville Heights, OH and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and Macedonia Church Family.
