Patsy Smith Owens

Patsy Smith Owens, 88, a native of Arkansas and a resident of Raceland, LA, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland LA.

She is survived by her sons, Donald Owens (partner, Jose Vasquez) and Charles Owens (Lisa); grandchildren, Dereck Owens and Brad Owens; great grandchildren, Hunter, Madison, Gaige, Ian and Annalise.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Eugene Owens; an infant son; grandson, Eric Owens; parents, Lester Earl Smith and Birdie Winberry Smith; brother, Loyce "Buck" Smith and sisters, Ella Mae Strange, Louise Page, Selmer Jerles and Joyce Landry.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

There will be a chapel service in Stamps, Arkansas on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 11:00 am. at A O Smith Funeral Home.  A visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 am until service time. Interment to follow at Sardis Cemetery, Stamps, Arkansas. Services in Stamps will be under the direction of A O Smith Funeral Home, Stamps, Arkansas.
