Patsy Gail Wiedebusch (nee Hardin) of Johnson City, TX, passed away peacefully Monday evening, January 20, in Katy, TX.
She was born to Ed and Sarah Hardin on January 17, 1943, in Marble Falls, TX. She graduated from Marble Falls High School and soon met and married her husband, Felix Paul Wiedebusch, Jr. “Pete.” They resided in Johnson City.
Patsy worked at the Pedernales Electric Company for several years and later as a Special Education Aide with the Johnson City Independent School District.
Patsy loved being involved in her daughters’ school activities, from being a room mother to traveling across the state to their band and sporting competitions. She cherished her time working with the students in the Special Ed department of the high school. She enjoyed baking and reading and was active in the First Baptist Church in Johnson City for many years.
In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Wiedebusch, and her sister, Doris Wagenfuhr of Eureka, CA.
She is survived by her daughter, Heather Tidwell, husband Phil, and granddaughter Berkeley of Athens, AL; daughter, Courtney Yerkes, husband Chris, and grandchildren Paige and Logan of Cypress, TX, as well as several nieces and nephews of Eureka, CA.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
