Mrs.Bobucky and Paul, sorry to hear about Mr.Bobucky. I went to school with Paul from 2nd grade through 12th and never had the privilege of playing on Mr. Bobucky's team but new him as a great coach and a great man.My deepest sympathy to both of you and your family'

Paul's Obituary

Paul G. Bobucky, 90, of Riverdale, passed away on June 2, 2015.Born on January 5, 1925, Paul was the son of the late Paul and Anna Bobucky, Paul proudly served in the US Army during World War II. He married Eleanor Kaufman and the couple settled in Little Ferry where Paul was a councilman and was active with the Board of Education and Little League. Paul and Eleanor lived in Pompton Plains for 15 years before moving to Riverdale 5 years ago. Paul was a loving husband, father and friend and an avid sports fan.Paul is survived by his wife of 60 years, Eleanor; his son, Paul and his wife Tina; his brother, Robert; and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held from 2-4 & 7-9pm on Thursday, June 4 at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains. A funeral Mass will be held 10 am on Friday at Our Lady of Good Counsel RC Church, Pompton Plains. Interment will follow at Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes. In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul's memory to the Little Ferry/South Hackensack Little League, PO Box 661, Little Ferry, NJ 07643 or the Youth Ministry at Our Lady of Good Counsel RC Church, 155 West Parkway, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444 would be greatly appreciated by his family.
