Paul LeCroy Clawson departed this life on May 18, 2016 at the age of 93. He was born February 8, 1923 to George and Oma Butterfield Clawson in Smackover, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruby Thrailkill Clawson; sons, Paul Arthur, John Lavelle and Robert Lynn Clawson; sister, Lucile C. Berry.Survived by his daughter, Beverly Estridge; son, Ronnie Clawson; brother, Richard Clawson; sisters, JoAnn Smith and Melba Tomlinson; grandchildren, Paul J. (Regina) Clawson, Jonathan (Tammy) Clawson, Loretta Thomas (Sean), Robert Clawson, Pamela Hancock and Sheila Bordelon; great-grandchildren, J. Paul and Kayla Clawson, Jonathan, Carey, Andrew and Asher Clawson, Brandon and Paul Thomas, Angelina Bordelon and Greg Newton.He was a welder and spent many years working in several states before retiring from Cross Oil after 28 years.He is survived by many family members and friends who will miss him. The family wishes to thank all his friends and family who helped care for him; Dr. Richard Davis and staff and his caregivers for all their care and concern.Memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, May 27 at 2PM at Proctor Funeral Home.
