Not sure what to say?

Rest in Peace Paul . You were a soft spoken role model for many of us in the FPD.

Very sorry to learn of "PD's" passing. Worked with him for many years at FPD. He sure was well liked and respected, and a hard worker. He put in a lot of "OT" slips back in the day ;), well earned!! Last time I saw him, was one of the FPD monthly breakfast get togethers. I knew he wasn't doing well. My heartfelt sympathies to his family, hopefully many good memories with him will be comforting. I know he was so proud ofhis family and children and they are so successful. What a great...

Paul was one of the best neighbors we have ever had. He always told stories about his past and did his nightly walk around the neighborhood checking on everything as if he was on patrol. We loved hearing about all of his hunting trips and meeting up with old friends. You can tell he loved planting new flowers each Spring and mowing his lawn so it is exactly the same height throughout. It was common to see him with Toby by his side enjoying life outside too. Each story, smile and patrol...

Sending prayers and condolences to the whole Dieterle family.

It has been many years since we lived across the street from your family on Chelmsford Dr. I still remember how good and patient you were to us as neighbors.

So sorry to hear about Paul’s passing. Blessings to all his family and loved ones.
He was a great cop and fun to be around. We used to play cards at different cops homes until the wee hours of the morning. RIP ole friend.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Condolences to the Dieterle family during this difficult time.

I would see him from time to time at Meijer in Swartz Creek and he would be wearing his Vietnam veteran hat. I would say to him, "How is my favorite Vietnam vet doing?" He would give me a big smile. Also I...

Paul was a great friend and brother. We shared many memories good and sometimes bad in our career together with FPD and long time FOP members. You will be sadly missed brother. RIP Ron and Jan
