Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry for your loss, Your father was one of the most genuinely nice guys, always a joke and a smile and boy could be eat. Our fathers house gained a really awesome guy.

All I can say to Coach, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant”! Coach you played a pivotal role in my life. The lessons you taught me about commitment and discipline have been a road map for my life’s journey. You were there during a most challenging time in many of our lives when we experienced death of a close friend and team mate. Your strength and faith helped shepherd me through that period and helped guide me to my faith walk! The Lord worked mightily through you Coach!!!! So many...

Coach - I can't even fathom the number of hours on the mat, in the car, in the bus, and in the bleachers that we spent together. There are so many lessons that you taught me in that time. Not only did you make me a better wrestler, you made me want to be a better person. As I talk to other wrestlers over the years, they all talk about how hard their coaches pushed them. For me, it was very different - I tell them how hard you made me want to push myself. You had a hug for me after every...

Dear Coach Eckley,
I was heartbroken to hear of your passing. Even after nearly 35+ years, your impact on my life—both on and off the mat—remains profound.
You were more than just a coach; you were a mentor, a role model, and a steadfast example of faith and integrity. You taught us discipline, resilience, and the importance of character—lessons that have guided me well beyond high school.
To this day, Gary Munch and I still share stories from our time with Hightstown...

Sue - I'm very sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

Paul was always a advocate for our special education students. Had a unique relationship with them that was positive and rewarding for the students. Great sense of humor! Chuck Pesce. Bordentown, NJ

As a Hightstown grad 79, I had the greatest pleasure of knowing coach Eckley. My brother 2 years behind me wrestled and played football. Coach was one of the best teachers and coaches. May God bless him and your family. He is a soul who will be truly missed! Thank you Coach!

Coach Eckley was a great man, on the mats and off. Always a chuckle and smile that radiated love and respect. Rest in peace my friend.

One of the greatest men I knew and a huge positive influence in my life. I thought of him often. Thank you for everything you taught me Coach! I will keep practicing my shot and i promise to eat enough but still make weight! Rest in peace!
