Hudson-Paul E. Fisher, Jr., 82, passed peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, June 16, 2025 at the Marlborough Hospital following a period of declining health. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Clara Fisher, who died in 2003. He is survived by his sister, Beverly Hyde; nephew Lee Woodworth, Jr. & wife Pam, nieces Jennifer Woodworth, and Ann Rata & husband Nigel; great-nieces, nephews, extended family and many dear friends, notably his canine companion Chance.
Son of the late Paul E. Fisher, Sr. & Alice (White) Fisher, Paul was raised and educated in Wellesley. He began his career working for the New York Central Railroad, was later employed by the Town of Wellesley, and ultimately retired from Mass Highway. Paul enjoyed friendship among his fellow members at the Moose Lodge in Marlborough and in his bowling league in Natick. He was a lifelong fan of country western music, and in younger years was quite talented on roller skates. Above all, he was a loving brother, uncle, and friend.
A Celebration of Paul’s life will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2025 from 1 until 3PM at the Community Center at Hudson Housing, 1A Brigham Circle, Hudson, MA.
