Paul and loving wife Pat were always willing to invite the younger kids into their home in Kahoka, Mo.
For a short time, their lovely home would be our home. It was magic! It was a true bonding friendship!
We loved them like they were Family. We were Family! Some of us worked at the Gutting fireworks tents,
or the Kahoka Dragstrip...or wherever we might be useful. For a way too brief period, the Gutting home
was a place of refuge for us. It's likely, we never showed...

Sorry hear about your dad. He was great to me. Gave me one of my first jobs building grain bins. That taught me that if you want to succeed you had to work for it. Hope you all are doing well. Mick and Shiela Wood. Your Kahoka friends.

Paul was such a loving kind man...He is with his Lord and loving sweet wife Pat....We have to be out of town or we would be there to honor a life we'll lived and we'll loved..

Such a shame to loose such a good man! I always thought so highly of him!He gave me my first job. A kid still wet behind the ears.He was more than a boss I thought of him as a friend and a father figure he taught me a lot! At the time I was very close to the family but they moved and I then started driving a semi over the road that too was something that Kris had taught me to do and still am to this day.This is one of these times when you say to yourself I really need to go visit but work and...
