Not sure what to say?

The Southwestern Association of Volunteer Firemen, State of New York extends its condolences and sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Paul Heitzman of the Citizens Hose Company, Lancaster, NY. As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate and give thanks for his service in providing others in urgent need with assistance, protection, care, and comfort. May he rest in peace.

I met Paul when I joined the Citizen's Hose Co. in 1986. He was a great man and always treated me with kindness and respect. I fondly remember playing in many a softball game with him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family during this most difficult time.
