To the entire Krepline Family - you took us Carthage boys in as if we were all your sons/brothers. Paul was like a second father to us - he helped keep us in line and always offer us words of wisdom that still resonate today. Although we are deeply saddened by the news, we know that he fought as hard and as long as he possibly could - that was just in his nature. Even though we are spread all over the country, your family is forever part of ours! You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathy goes out to you, Debbie, and your entire family for your loss. I graduated the year after Paul, and I always considered him one of the friendliest people that I've ever met in school.

Although Paul wasn't my family's biological grandfather, he took us right in as if we were his own. In his exact words, "family is much more than just blood." He taught me almost every valuable life lesson I've ever learned. No matter how much I write, I'll never be able to fully describe how much he meant to me. However now we may rest easy knowing he's watching over us and not suffering the horrors of cancer. I'm so glad he lived such a full life and impacted the lives of so many others.

Paul and his family sent the milk from their dairy farm to my family's cheese factory for many, many years. They were a wonderful family indeed! I shared some times with Paul in high school and he was a delightful friend. It's been many, many years since those days.... and a long time since I've seen Paul. But I wanted to express my sadness at Paul's passing. Paul was truly a gem of a guy.... and I am so very sorry for your loss.
