Paula Kaye Ticknor, born in Navasota, Texas on January 20, 1956, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 17, 2025, at her residence in New Waverly. She was 69 years old.
Paula was a graduate of Navasota High School, class of 1974. She dedicated her career to working for the State of Texas, starting with TDCJ and later moving to UTMB. She completed her 20 years of service as a Medical Archive Director.
Paula was deeply involved in her grandchildren's lives, eagerly attending their various ball games and activities. She cherished the time she spent with them.
Known for her love of socializing, Paula enjoyed hanging out with her friends. She was a devoted member of Northside Baptist Church and actively participated in numerous church activities. Paula was a true Christian lady who embodied her faith and shared it with everyone she met.
Preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Doris Ginglewood, Paula leaves behind a loving family. She is survived by her four beautiful daughters: Kathy Hurley and her husband Brandon, Kim Griffin and her husband Jerod, Kelley Pegoda and her husband Brandon, and Karen Hybner and her husband Brian.
Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Dalton Hurley, Dallas Hurley, Kynsley Griffin, Kanin Griffin, Konnor Griffin, Bohannon Pegoda, Jennings Pegoda, Jayce Wells, and Jordan Wells. Paula is also survived by one sister, Pam White, and her husband Larry, along with her two nephews Daniel White and Tyler White and their families.
Paula has left behind a treasure of memories that will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
