Not sure what to say?

I knew Paulette through her son, Jason. She was one of the nicest women I knew.

Great friend. Such a positive lady. We had some great times together during my year and a half stay in C.R. She always stayed in touch since I left Cedar Rapids in 1969. Three or four times a year we would talk over the phone or emails. Also remembered her fun trip to California with the family.

Best to Joe and the family. I will miss her.

Paulette was a caring friend of mine all through the grades at St Patrick School & Church. I have many fond memories of her.

So sorry to see about Paulette's passing in the Gazette. She was a wonderful lady. We will keep you and your family in our prayers.

To Joe and family, we are so sorry to hear of Paulette's passing. Paulette and family were part of our lives as kids were growing up. She was a great lady full of so much energy. Hold on to all the beautiful memories over the years. Sending love.

It's been a joy to have Paulette and Joe as neighbors for the past 25+ years, and we consider it a privilege to live in the home that her grandparents built. We wouldn't see each other much during the winter months, but once the weather broke and it was nice out, I always looked forward to seeing her outside so we could update each other on what was going on with our families. I've really missed those talks these past few years as her health declined! Whether at one of our girl's graduation...

Paulette was one of the special ladies we enjoyed over the years at LaSalle with our kids. Full of energy and so kind. Please accept our sincere condolences as you go through the days ahead. Know that many folks are thinking of you. May she rest in peace with God in Heaven.
Our love and prayers,
Pat & Kathleen Sterenchuk O’Donnell

Mrs. Goedken was a nice woman and dedicated to her family. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

My sympathies to Paulette's family, and my appreciation for her great spirit that I remember. I hadn't seen Paulette in years, but encountered her many times especially in the 1980s when her son Jason was among many students I took to Taos, NM for education workshop. Paulette was always kind and engaging, and a memory of our youthful days at St. Pat's and LaSalle.
