I was so sorry to hear about Paulines passing. She was a neighbor and also I knew her from work. She was always so kind and nice. I just saw her a few weeks ago. She is now with Jesus.

Rip Pauline. You were a kind loving woman. You will be missed. May the family find solace in fond memories.

Pauline's Obituary

Pauline M. Navarro, 73, of Pen Argyl, PA, passed away on Tuesday, September 30th, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, PA.

Born in Dover, NJ, on August 15, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Janet M. (Nixon) Church. She was the widow of Thomas W. Navarro, who passed away in 2010.

Pauline was a dedicated secretary at Capitol Auto in Bangor, PA, and previously served as a legal secretary for Cassebaum, McFall, Layman, and Jordan Law Office in Bangor, PA, for over 20 years.  She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Bangor, PA, serving on several committees, and she was a driving force behind bringing the BackPack Ministry back to the church.  She contributed significantly to her community by sewing over 2,000 masks during the COVID-19 pandemic, which she donated to anyone in need.  She also enjoyed making vanilla and spending time with her church family and friends.

She was a member and Past-President of the former Bangor American Legion Post 378 Ladies Auxiliary and the Bangor Elks Ladies Auxiliary.

Pauline is survived by her daughter, Adrienne Kalena, wife of John, her son, Thomas W. Navarro, II, her sisters, Constance Santiago and Catharine Feathers, and husband Anthony, her sisters-in-law, Karen Navarro, Barbara Navarro and Cindy Hart, her nephew, Julio DelValle, and wife Lori, her nieces, Cynthia Navarro, Michelle Navarro, Jennifer Hart, several great-nieces and great-nephews and her four grandchildren, Justin Kalena, Thomas W. Navarro, III, Paul Anthony Navarro, and Lucas Navarro.  She was pre-deceased by her nephew, Paul DelValle.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 1st, at 1:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church, 55 N. Third St., Bangor, PA, with Rev. Elisandra Garcia officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., "Village of Johnsonville," Bangor, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 55 N. Third Street, Bangor, PA 18013.
