Pauline's Obituary

Pauline Vecchione-Of Beverly, formerly of Peabody, passed on August 27th, 2025, at 73 years old surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of John Vecchione. Loving mother of Christopher Vecchione and his wife Alice Vecchione Sousa of Peabody, and Jennifer Vecchione and her wife Joanne Thistle of Townsend. Cherished grandmother of Vincent, Cristian, Paisley Grace, and Luis Benjamin. Loving sister of Emily Fudge of Everett, Joseph Poste of Hamilton, and Rose Perrier of Ocala, FL.

Pauline was born on October 10, 1951, to Joseph and Emily Poste, and grew up in Everett, MA. Pauline attended Salem State College, where she received a degree in Education. She later graduated from Malden School of Nursing with a degree in Nursing. A Registered Nurse for more than four decades, Pauline was known not just for her skill, but for her profoundly compassionate spirit, which she brought to every patient she cared for. She retired in Arizona where she lived for 8 years and enjoyed travelling to Aruba and cruising the world with her friends and family. Pauline was an avid reader and had a passion for crime shows. She cherished every moment spent with her grandkids, doing a craft and creating treasured memories that will be held in our hearts forever.

She will be sadly missed by all. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation at the JF Ward Funeral Home, 772 Broadway, Everett, on Wednesday, September 3rd from 4 pm to 8 pm, followed by a funeral in the funeral home on Thursday, September 4th at 10 am. Services will conclude with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
