Pedro Rey Vega

Pedro Rey Vega, 67, passed away on March 24th, 2025 in Midland Texas. Pedro, a man known for his compassion, uplifting energy, his good heart, his never ending desire to work hard, will be missed. Pedro was born on January 18, 1958, to Abel Vega and Filomena Rey in Ojinaga Chihuahua. He is survived by his wife Margarita Gonzales Vega his daughters Gabriella Natividad, Maria Griselda Natividad, Michelle Richey, Isabel Martinez, Elizabeth Flores, Irene Cardona, Elsa Vasquez and 22 grandkids. He is preceded in death by his father Abel Vega his mother Filoména Rey, and his brother Fernando Vega. He is is survived by his brothers and sisters Mireya, Maria de Socorro, Irma, Erméno, Yolanda, Griselda, Jose de la Cruz and Abel. Pedro Vega was a hardworking, loving, caring and compassionate man who loved his animals. He loved making people laugh and taking pictures of everything he cherished. He loved to spend quality time with his grandkids. He made each person feel seen and loved and his warmth and wisdom were a guiding light. For so many whether it was his cracking the funniest jokes or small thoughtful gestures he did without hesitation. He lived his life humbled with a lot of spirit that inspired us all. While he may no longer be with us his legacy of love and beautiful memories we shared will remain in our hearts forever. He will be deeply missed, but his love will continue to guide us.

Visitation will be held at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home & Chapel on Sunday March 30, 2025 from 1pm-9pm.A prayer service will be held on March 30, 2025 at 7 pm.

Funeral services will be held on Monday March 31st 2025 at 10 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish & Shrine followed by burial at Serenity Memorial Gardens following a luncheon at Don Pedro's Rancho @ 2000 WCR 120 Midland, Tx
