Obituary
Penson's Obituary
Penson McClendon Jr., age 65, of Marion, AR, passed from this life on December 31, 2024, in South Haven, MS. He was born on March 7, 1959, in Osceola, AR, to the late Penson McClendon Sr. and Helen McClendon. Penson served his country as a ‘Senior Airman’ in the United States Air Force where he was honorably discharged in 1981. He spent the last of his years employed by the Shelby County Airport Authority in Memphis, TN. Penson was also a member of St. John Full Gospel in Osceola, AR
In addition to his parents, Penson is preceded in death by his wife, Vanessa McClendon.
He is survived by five sisters: Laraine McClendon, June McClendon, Rosalind McClendon, and Joyce Pearson all of Osceola, AR, as well as Phyllis McClendon of Blytheville, AR.
The family is holding a memorial service to honor the life of Mr. McClendon on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 11:00 am at St John Full Gospel in Osceola, AR, with Pastor Patrick Jackson officiating. Wilson Funeral Home is assisting the family with all arrangements and services.
