Not sure what to say?

Your father was a great guy and I had the privilege of being his good friend. He kept me stocked in Timex Test Watches. Many the happy Saturdays we had at the tennis courts, battling our sons. More men should use him as model father, husband and friend.

Continuing to keep Mr. Arduino in our prayers. Fond memories seeing him with his son at Old St. Pats while visiting Chicago.

You are in our thoughts and prayers, with sincere condolences to the entire Arduino family. Rest in peace, and may the Lord embrace you after as you enter his home.

Love always, Silio & Gaetana Costantini

Diane and family,
Although I never met your dad, your shared stories and memories painted a warm and wonderful picture of him! I am sure he is in heaven ready to celebrate Easter with Jesus and all those who went before him. May his love for you and your fond memories comfort you until you meet again.

Easter offers hope to those who grieve. In this time of grief, let me convey condolences to Pete, Jr., and to his family.

To those who meant the most to Peter,
May the memories comfort you during this difficult time. May he be comforted in the arms of the Lord. He will be looking down on all of you and smiling.

My prayers go out to entire Arduino family. As a friend of his son Pete, I have had the pleasure of spending time with Mr. Arduino during his trips to Chicago. He was a wonderful man and role model for all of us.

My prayers go out to all of you at this sad, but joyous time.
Your dad is resting peacefully in the arms of Jesus after a life of service to him. May you find comfort in his uplifting grace.
Know that all of the Play is praying for all of you.

So sorry for your loss. Peter and I worked together at Timex / Bendix from 1981-1985. I thought the world of him, but we lost track of each other. He was a very special person.

"Beloved Husband, Father & Grandfather"

Mr. Peter J. Arduino Sr. 84 of 63 Lockwood Drive, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 11, 2014 at the Village at East Farms, surrounded by his loving family.  He was the beloved husband of Mary C. (Berte) Arduino for 56 years.

Peter was born in Tarrytown, New York on April 16, 1929 son of the late Giuseppe and Giuseppa (Abrami) Arduino.  He was a 1947 graduate of Washington Irving High School, where he excelled in sports, especially football and track.  He graduated from Westchester Community College, where he received a degree in Electronics Technology.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he served from 1951 to 1954.  He worked as an Electronics Technician for Timex Corp. in Irvington, NY until he was transferred to Middlebury, Connecticut in 1977.  He retired from Allied Signal in 1991.

He coached little league for many years in Tarrytown, was a Tarrytown Parks and Recreation volunteer, a high school football referee, and a volunteer fireman for the Phoenix Hose Fire House in Tarrytown until moving to Connecticut. He was on the founding committee of Carolyn’s Place Pregnancy Care Center in Waterbury, where he dedicated himself to the protection of the unborn and was a loving presence to girls and women in need.  He was the go-to handyman and did whatever was necessary to ensure that every client he met felt loved, valued, and cared for.  He was always the first person to help anyone in need, whether it be family, friend, or stranger.  His kind and gentle nature endeared him to all who knew him.  He lived out his Christian faith in every aspect of his life.
