Jill,Tim and Amelia, I was so sad to hear this news today. While I never had the pleasure to meet Peter,I have heard wonderful stories about him.I cannot express how my heart brakes for all of you at this time. You are a wonderful family and I am lucky to have gotten to know you all.If there is ever anything I can do to help you get through this awful time,I am here for you.I'm so very sorry for your loss.

Dear Jill,
I can recall that hug goodbye from you last Thursday and your smile a smile from an amazing Mother who couldn't wait to get home to her family and one who reminded me to say Happy Birthday to my daughter when I arrived home. Although Peter did not get enough days with us, he certainly had the BEST Mother one could ask for. A Mom who loved him and cared so deeply. If I could turn time back for just one second I would have given you a bigger hug and held on to you a little...

Peter was a wonderful soul, and I will always cherish his friendship. I had never met anyone quite like him before and I only can hope to be so lucky again. I hope he has finally found his peace. May we all watch a pond of ducks, enjoy a cup of tea, or a engage in a good-natured debate with him in our hearts.
