Not sure what to say?

Barb, my deepest sympathy on the loss of Pete. I am Joanne Miller French and Pete and I lived next door to each other on Marlette St., Syracuse, NY. We were both only children and he was like my little brother. We spent many evenings talking on tin cans tied with a string between our houses. Our bedrooms were across from each other.
I was on facebook this morning and a picture popped up of his mother and father at the reception of my father after he died. June was my mother's best friend...

Pete you were one of a kind in a very good way. You were a pleasure to work with for twenty-five years and a consummate professional at all times. You were always personable, caring to the officers, and focused on doing your job well and doing the right thing. It was great to be able to talk to you this past spring. You had such a brave outlook on things and it appears you lived your life to the fullest during retirement. Barb, my condolences and I know this is a terrible loss for you as...

Pete you will be missed. Gary and I were honored to participate each and every time you called for our assistance in honoring another Fallen Veteran. You will not be forgotten and we will fondly speak of you and say your name. Thank you for your years of dedicated service to our country. Pat Howardell Retired State Captain of the Vermont Patriot Guard Riders

Barb: Sorry for your loss. Pete was a good man and was a pleasure to work with him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family

My sincere condolences to the Bell family, I was privileged to work with Sergeant Bell at Jamesville Correctional Facility. He was an ardent believer in structure, a good listener and teacher. He served his community and country with pride and passion.

RIP SIR

Barb, you have my deepest sympathy. I too enjoyed working with you both. he will be missed. Chris Kane

Barb and family I am so sorry for your loss. I had the honor of working with Pete for almost 10 years, he was the perfect example of what a supervised should be. Firm, fair and consistent always. He told it like it was and walked the walk, yet he was still approachable.
Barb I appreciate the friendship I found in you while I worked at Jamesville. You made me smile often and I remember the warmth in your voice. I would choose u in a block or control center any day. I have thought of you...

My sincerest condolences Barb to you and the family, I enjoyed working with Pete or Skip as my brother and Sue always called him. He was a great man, very by the book like, but treated every one with the same amount of respect. I had a great conversation with him about family values when my two uncles passéd away in the same week and handed him my 2026 for bereavement time. So very sorry for your loss.
