Peter Savickas

I met Pete through my wife Karen and through Debbie, who had been long time friends going back to single days in New York City. We enjoyed visits to Maine and NH, and several wonderful New Years' celebrations, with Debbie and Pete. Each visit I would enjoy great conversations, and often learn something new; Pete's knowledge and passion around many subjects were truly infectious. My deepest sympathies to Debbie and to Pete's family and friends. RIP to one of the most interesting people...

Peter was a long time friend. Although a few years older than me I always had great respect for him and the entire Savickas Family. He will be missed.

I knew Peter many years ago when we were both working for Dean Witter Reynolds in Providence. We shared a desk there for over a year; Peter was a great person, very smart, dry sense of humor and a quick study. In short, it was a pleasure and a privilege to know Peter.

Met Peter at a few Elkins Fish and Game Club events over the past several years . Enjoyed his company and will put in a donation to the club in his memory !

On behalf of the members of the Elkins Fish & Game Club I want to send our sincere condolences. Pete was a great guy and we're sad to hear of his passing. He was very active in the club, and always helped at events and with projects. He was well thought of and will be missed by all of us.

We will miss Pete. He was a good friend and a generous soul.
