Not sure what to say?

To the Semashko family, although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer.

Wm Yates & Margarita Hays

I am sorry for the loss of your wonderful father. Prayers for all in your family.

To the Semashko Family,
We were so sorry to hear of cousin Sonny's passing. I am sure Aunt Bara was there to meet her first born with a big hug. Remember the good times as they bring smiles instead of tears. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Fran, Mike and the Semashko Family,

I am very sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers.

Deepest Sympathy,

He was such a fun and special man, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Just got email from Robert Milanowski about your dad Fran passing away Sept 12. Due to work obligations we are unable to attend the Christian burial on Tuesday. Just wanted you to know that Mike, you and your families are in our prayers. God's peace and grace be with you.

I like to think of sunbeams as those we love, reaching down to remind us they are not very far at all...

Peter's Obituary

Our beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather Peter L. Semashko (July 16, 1930- September 12, 2015) has gently closed the door on his earthly life, and opened the door to everlasting life with God, our Father. He was preceded in death by his wife Gladys, his parents Barbara and Peter Semashko, and brothers, Francis, Robert, and John. He will be greatly missed by brother Dick (Judy) Semashko, sister Dolly (Jim) Schram, and his children Peter (Lori) Semashko, Richard (Audria) Semashko, Frances (Michael) Hollern, Deb (Tom) Greenhoe, and his nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Pete loved to amuse people with his famous one-liners and great sense of humor. He enjoyed making jerky for his friends and family, building cuckoo clocks, and spending time in the company of his grand children and great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at Holy Family Catholic Church, 9669 Kraft Ave. SE, Caledonia, on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Loc Trinh presiding. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may meet the family at the church from 9:30-10:30. The family is particularly grateful for the compassion and care of the Faith Hospice caregivers. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice, 2100 Raybrook Ave SE, Suite 300, Grand Rapids, MI 49546 or www.faithhospicecare.org.
