Philip Thompson of Campbellsville, son of the late Jimmie Alva Thompson and Bessie Emma Whitlock Thompson was born July 15, 1954 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 1:50 P.M., Saturday, September 16, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 63He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.He was a devoted employee of Overhead Door for some forty six years and was a lifelong farmer. In Philip's spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also a former Club House member of the American Legion Post 82.He united in marriage to Pam Gabehart June 28, 1980.Besides his wife, Pam Thompson, he is survived by two brothers and four sisters:Gilbert Thompson of Glasgow, Jean Burkhead and husband, Jodie, Becky Spratt, Patricia Gray and husband, Donnie, Terry Thompson and wife, Betty and Hilda Bell and companion, Mike Maupin; a brother-in-law, Ernie Gabehart and wife, Hilda; a sister-in-law, Sue Simpson and husband, Jeff all of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.VISITATION: 5:00 - 8:00 P.M., Monday, September, 18, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral HomeFUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, September, 19, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home by Bro.
