My Sis, I’m so lost without you! You were such a fighter and you gave it your all. You know I’m not good at expressing my feelings especially when I’m heartbroken I try to hide it. You have always been there for me regardless of what it was I feel like I let you down in so many ways. I just hope you knew how much I love you and looked up to you. We miss you more & more every second of the day! Please watch over us all especially your Moe Moe & family and we will see you again. I love you with...

Mom, not by blood but by heart. I am sorry I did not visit Texas sooner. I will always remember you as a loving, caring, understanding, strong, fierce, and firecracker of a woman. I am grateful for having known you and having memories of you throughout my teenage and young adult years. You are gone now but never will you be forgotten. Until we meet again! Love, Amanda Wynn (Freeman)

Phyliss Ann Correll, lovingly known as “Aunnie,” passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025, in Wichita Falls, Texas, at the age of 64. She was born on October 1, 1961, in Paducah, Texas, to JT and Ethel Earline Brackett.
Phyliss was a proud Texan whose heart and energy touched everyone she met. She dedicated more than 20 years to the school district, where she inspired many as a cheerleading coach and later worked as a manager at King’s Food Store. She was known for her outspoken nature, deep faith, and fierce devotion to her family. Phyliss was truly the heart of her family—strong, loyal, and full of love. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and four dogs.
She is survived by her loving husband, Charles “Moe” Correll; her children Amanda Correll-Keath, Justin Correll, Brandon Correll, and Brittany Keath; her daughters-in-law Brooke Correll and Lina Correll; and her many grandchildren: Blake (Willow) Keath, Aspen (Corbett) Collinsworth, Brandon Correll Jr., Makenzie (Chase) Keath, Savannah (Danny) Monroy, Taegan Correll, Alijah Correll, Carson Correll, and Nevaeh Keath. She also leaves behind her cherished great-grandchildren: Liam, Brenlie, Shiliana, Hazel, Keegan, Koen, Asher, Kaelum, Bryar, Maezlynn, Leo, Helio, and Elodie Grace Ann.
Phyliss is also survived by her mother-in-law Geraldine Correll, sister-in-law Annia (Daryl) Erskine, and brothers-in-law Wayne Correll, David (Tambra) Correll, and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, JT and Ethel Brackett, and her father-in-law Earl Correll, as well as her great-grandson Kashtyn.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home, 1317 9th Street, Wichita Falls, Texas 76301. The funeral service will follow on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at the same location.
In true Phyliss fashion, the family requests that everyone “come as you are”—no dressing up needed. She loved people just as they were and would want everyone to remember her with joy and authenticity. She never forgot the people she loved, and she carried each of them in her heart until the end.
Phyliss will be remembered for her unwavering love, her humor, and her ability to make everyone feel seen and valued. Her spirit will live on in the laughter, strength, and love of her family.
