Not sure what to say?

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

So sorry for your loss

Phyllis was a ray of sunshine and I remember her very fondly - she will be missed. My most sincere condolences to Bill and the entire family

Phyllis and I were classmates and friends at Girls Central High School. I have such fond memories of those years. She always made me laugh and classes were so much more fun with her in them. She was warm- hearted, kind and loving and will be missed by all who knew her. My sincere condolences to her husband and family. I especially want to express my sympathy to her brother, Bob, who I got to know while working with him at the Model City program in Butte. May you all be lifted up by knowing...

I've known Phyl since about 6th grade. It's so hard to know just what to say. She was a beautiful soul and a great person in a world with far too few of those. Even though I didn't get to spend much time with her over the years, she will always remain one of my dear and cherished forever friends. May she be at peace, and may her family take some comfort in their memories and in the fact that she will be missed by so very many people. I truly hope she is partying with the angels, even as...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

To Bill, Lori, Robert, Mike and all of your family, please know how much the
cousins in Memphis and Portland will miss Phyllis.
Not to mention the California cousins!
May she rest in peace

Wonderful memories of Phyl, from the IC, Girls Central, coffees and our monthly lunches.
What a kind, loving soul. Condolences to Bill and family. Miss and love you dear friend

Phyllis was a true and dear friend. She was always a joy to be around. I am so sorry for your loss.

Obituary

Phyllis's Obituary

Phyllis Ann Christiaens of Butte, Montana, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025, just shy of her 75th birthday.

Phyllis was the daughter of Phillip and Stephanie Farren of Meaderville and the beloved wife of William Christiaens for almost 50 years.

Phyllis lived a life filled with love and devotion to her family. She was a loving mother to her three children: daughter Lori McKee, and sons Robert Christiaens and Michael Christiaens. She was also adored by her 8 grandchildren: Morgan Christiaens, Peyton Trabert, Valerie Trabert, Brian Christiaens, Jonah McKee, Eleanor McKee, Josie Christiaens, and Harper Christiaens. Phyllis also was deeply loved by her daughters-in-law: Theresa Christiaens and Rachel Christiaens, and by her only (and favorite) son-in-law, Clayton Mckee.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her brother Manny Farren (Judy). She is survived by brothers Christopher Farren, Daniel (Patty) Farren, and Bob (Mary Lou) Farren.

Phyllis graduated from both Girls’ Butte Central High School and Carroll College and loved to share stories of her time there. She also maintained close and endearing friendships with many of her childhood friends. Phyllis had an immense love for giving gifts; her generosity was abounding. This was apparent each Christmas, and every day she would help everyone around her, but she most enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing games, crafting, and traveling. She was a kind soul that was loved by all that knew her.

A funeral service will be held at Abundant Life Fellowship on April 26, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception at the Copper King Hotel.

The family wishes to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
