Phyllis Hejnicki

    Phyllis Hejnicki, age 90, of Toledo, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Heartland at ProMedica in Sylvania, OH. She was born on March 5, 1927 in Toledo, OH to Joseph and Pauline (Lyskawa) Hejnicki.  Phyllis graduated from DeVilbiss High School, Class of 1945. She was a lifelong resident of Toledo who was married for 53 years to Ralph Hejnicki. Phyllis was employed in her younger years by Bliss Manufacturing as an executive secretary.

    Phyllis loved books and fashion. She loved fashion so much she made her own clothes when she was young. She was a very religious person who often watched religious programming and Mass on TV. May Phyllis forever find peace and happiness in Heaven.

    Phyllis is survived by her sons, Ronald, Kevin, and Roger Hejnicki; sisters, Virginia (Frank) Nagy and Laurie Ciesla; grandson, Christian Michael Hejnicki; and nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph Hejnicki on January 8, 2010; and brother, Theodore Zolciak.

    Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:30 - 6:30 pm in Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. The Funeral Service will follow at 6:30 pm with Rev. John Miller presiding. Inurnment will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery.

   Memorial donations may be given to Regina Coeli Church or ProMedica Hospice.
