With profound sadness and love, the family of Preslie B. Cole Jr., 85, of Blanchard, announces his passing on November 9, 2025. Preslie was born on March 9, 1940, in Hugo, OK, to the late Preslie B. Cole Sr. and Gladys Cole. He attended and graduated from Ada High School in 1958, then moved to Blanchard in 1960, where he established Cole Farms that same year. He married his beloved wife, Judy Cole (née Van Wie), on July 18, 1962. They spent 63 wonderful years together, raising a family and making countless memories.
Preslie dedicated 40 years to his farm, working as both a farmer and rancher, tending the land and raising cattle with dedication until his retirement in 2000, though he continued to stay active on the farm for many years afterward. He was also an avid pilot, enjoying the skies as a passionate hobby. Preslie cherished time with his loved ones and was known for his generosity and unwavering loyalty, always putting his family first.
In the community, he was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Lions Club, and the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association, served on the school board for many years, and generously supported the FFA, leaving a lasting impact on those around him. He was always willing to help fellow farmers and neighbors in need. Preslie was also known for his sense of humor and creativity; he made homemade birthday cards for family so carefully crafted that everyone joked he could have worked for Hallmark.
He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Gary Gill.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Cole of Blanchard; his daughters, Brenda Gill of Tulsa, Laura and Kynn Schulte of Arlington, Charity and Alan Waggoner of Blanchard, and Lucy and Jimmy Walker of Blanchard; his grandchildren, Erica and Tolan Thissell, Rachel and Jason McCracken, Megan and William Yarbrough, Victoria and Michael Sawey, Taylor Schulte and fiancé, Robert Jackson, Cole Schulte, Jesse and Katelynn Walker, and Kyle Walker; his eight great-grandchildren, James Thissell, Finnegan McCracken, Eden Yarbrough, Grayson Yarbrough, Preslea Yarbrough, Weslie Walker, Tatum Walker, and Oliver Walker; and his brother, Rogers Julian Cole, his wife, Jodie Cole, and their children, Roger Cole and Jennifer Bradford.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
