Quimble “Sonny" Fuller, 81 of Ardmore, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on December 7, 2025. He was born on January 10, 1944, in Woodford, Oklahoma and was the son of Roscoe (Fat) Fuller and Lizzie (Clay) Fuller.  Sonny was known for his kind heart, warm smile, and unwavering love for his family and friends. He touched the lives of many with his generosity, humor and wisdom. Sonny will be remembered for his laughter, his strength, and his ability to make everyone feel valued and loved. His legacy of kindness and devotion will continue to inspire all who knew him.

Sonny Fuller was a graduate in the Class of 1963 at Douglass High School in Ardmore, Oklahoma. After graduating high school, he became a Custodian for the Veterans Administration Hospital in Ardmore, Oklahoma where he was employed for several years. During his employment tenure, he relocated to Los Angeles, California where he gained employment at California Medical Center, Cedar Sinai Medical Center and Los Angeles Unified School District until he officially retired. Sonny inherited a legacy of strong value, love and faithfulness that he passed on to his family, children and many more. He accepted Christ at an early age while attending First Baptist Church in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Sonny loved riding horses, going to the horse stables and attending Rodeos. He played dominoes and listened to jazz music. Sonny enjoyed watching western movies, even though he had already seen them multiple times. Sonny also loved talking to his sister Cora daily and his brother Ross every morning on the phone around 10:00 a.m. to talk about football and basketball, because it was the highlight of his day. Sonny loved spending quality time with his nephews.

One of his favorite things to do was to sit under some shade trees and tell stories and give advice to his nephews and friends. His smile was infectious and he loved life. Sonny had a nickname for everyone he knew, and he always gave advice to the younger generation about life's lessons on how to be successful in their future endeavors. He also loved listening to jazz music.

Sonny married Glenda Beachum in 1965 and during this union, two children were born, Tya Fuller and Rodney Fuller. He was also the father of Tyrone Fuller and LaTyrce Fuller, whom he shared with Evelyn Agers-Hornbeak. His two daughters and two sons were the love of his life, and his greatest joy was the bond he had with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His love for them will live on forever in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Roscoe (Fat) Fuller and Lizzie (Clay) Fuller. Five brothers, Eugene, Quincy, Charlie Fred (Bear), Norman (Brother), Raymond (Bill); one sister, Willa Marshall.
