Rafael Perez

Rafael Perez Vidana , 70, of Perryton, Texas passed away Monday, February 23, 2026 in Perryton.  Viewing will be Thursday, February 26, 2026, and Friday, February 27, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton.   A rosary will be held Friday, February 27, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.  Mass will be held Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Perryton, Texas, with burial following in Ochiltree Cemetery.

Rafael was born on January 28, 1956 in Juan Aldama  Zacatecas, Mexico to Manuel Perez and Esther Vidana.  He worked in the welding business, and he was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Perryton.  He married his wife, Debra Shipp Perez, in Pampa, Texas on March 9, 1984.

Rafael is survived by his wife, Debra, of the home; three daughters, Misty Powell and husband Travis of Mansfield, Texas, Christy Shipp of Richardson, Texas, and Jennifer Perez of Perryton, Texas; two brothers, Ignacio Perez of Perryton, Texas, and Manuel Perez of Mexico; one sister, Gillermina Perez of Mexico; two grandsons, Keegan Powell and Malik Hayward; one granddaughter, Ainsley Powell; and 11 nieces and nephews.

Rafael was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister.
