Ralph Edward Dodd

Ralph Edward Dodd age 71 of Smithville, died Saturday morning, Aug. 9, 2025 at the home of his daughter in Watertown.  Born Aug. 28, 1953, he was the son of the late Joe Edward Dodd and Clara Lou Murphy Dodd.  Ralph was a 1971 graduate of Watertown High School and retired from Texas Boot Company. He loved fishing, hunting and playing the guitar.

He is survived by his daughter, April Woodson and her husband, Tim of Watertown and a son, Matthew Dodd of Smithville; grandchildren, Emily (Dylan) Durham, Blake Woodson, Gemma and Jayde Dodd; great grandchildren, Max and Levi Durham; and his sisters, Dottie Williams, Wanda Jernigan and Patty Jo Smith; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ralph had chosen cremation and a memorial service to honor his life will be held at a later date.
