Ramon Morales, Sr. age 63 of Victoria passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017. He was born April 5, 1953 in Victoria to the late Jesus Morales and Jesusa Hinojosa Morales. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca M. Morales of Victoria; daughters, Monica Guajardo of Freeport, Roxanne Dawn Morales of Houston and Catherine Jean Bagley of Victoria; sons, Ramon Morales, Jr., Aroldo Casteneda III, Fernando K. Casteneda and Richard Seth Ramon Morales all of Victoria; sisters, Beatrice Bustamante and Guadalupe Galindo both of Victoria, Rosemary Martinez of Houston; brothers, Jesse Morales of Houston and George Morales of Victoria. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He is preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will begin Sunday, February 19, 2017 from 4 – 8pm with a rosary to be recited at 6pm at Artero Memorial Chapels in Victoria. Visitation will resume, Monday, February 20, 2017 from 9 – 11am at the funeral home. Funeral mass to be celebrated at 1pm at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Espinosa to officiate. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Angie Adames, Louis Rosales, Raymond Estrada, Joe Fuente, Manuel Vargas and Janie Delgado. Honorary Pallbearers will be Maria Mejia, Sonia Salinas, Hope Gomez, Keith Hernandez, Victor Magallon, Ruben Garcia and Heather Hernandez.
