I am sorry to read about this and saddened by what could have been. I hold memories of my visits with Jean and Randy and wish I would have furthered the communication.

Randall John Moran, 72, of Winnemucca, Nevada, formerly of Ludington, passed away unexpectedly at his home on October 17, 2017. He was born December 16, 1944 in Ludington, Michigan.
Randall grew up on his grandfather’s farm on the Pere Marquette River. He graduated high school from St. Simon’s and continued his education at Michigan State University. He retired from Winnemucca Public School District in 2010. Throughout his life and after retirement, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling, especially back to his hometown of Ludington.
Randy will be greatly missed by his mother, Jean Genter; brother, David Moran; niece, Cynthia Schulz; nephew, Brandon Moran; great-nieces, Keelie Schulz and Lacey (Dino) Williams, many nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as his beloved friend, Martha Gallegos.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; grandfather and grandmother, John and Stella; many aunts and uncles; nephew, Daniel Moran; and great-nephew, Jedidiah Schulz.
Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 18, 2017, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Custer. Interment will be in the Pere Marquette Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, Pere Marquette Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
