Not sure what to say?

Randy,

I remember the first time I met you at Marvin’s house in Forest Park. I was nervous as hell. Ashley had told me all about you being in the Marines and how strict you could be, and I was scared you wouldn’t like me. I thought you’d see me as some young guy who wouldn’t respect you.

When it came time to ask for your blessing to marry Ashley, I was scared out of my mind and didn’t even know how to approach you. But I told you I loved your daughter with all my heart...

I love you with all my heart ♥

You were my best friend growing up, and I miss those days more than words can ever say. No matter what, you’ll always be my best friend, Dad. I’m going to miss you so much . I hope you truly know that.

I’ll miss our talks, our laughs, and seeing you at the family reunions. I’m just going to miss you in every way.

Until I see you again one day just know I love you so much, Dad.

— Ashley Phillips

We will miss you uncle Randy

I never really knew who I got my blue eyes from until I looked into yours and saw myself a million times. Now I know. And now they’re the one thing I get to carry from you forever.

People will ask me for the rest of my life, “Where did you get those eyes from?”And every time they do, I’ll get to say your name. I’ll get to talk about my papaw. And even through the sadness, that will always bring me a little bit of joy.

I’ve never really lost anyone close to me before. I...

So very sad to loose such a wonderful guy. Prayers to one of my sisters by choice Trish Parks and my good friend Bobbie Gentry at the loss of their love one. Find peace and comfort in knowing that he's with our Lord Jesus Christ. Prayers for comfort for alk of Randys family. Love Tonya
