I was driving on a family vacation when I learned that Randy had passed. Coincidently enough I was listening to a reggae mix he had made me. We spent every day together in Afghanistan and we laughed all the time, mostly at each other. I am lucky to have had such a great battle buddy. RIP bro.

I was deployed with Randy in 2006-07 and we had some laughs, him trying to teach me about the stock market, among other things. I'm was so sorry and shocked to have read about his passing. I hadn't seen him in many years, but I remember him fondly. My condolences to all he left behind, much too soon.
