Randy Steven Soluri, a lifelong resident of Watertown, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, November 27th, at the age of 62. Born on May 17, 1962, in Watertown, Randy was the beloved son of Richard Soluri and Oleta Cowles. He was educated in the Watertown City School District and spent his entire life in the city he called home.
Randy had a passion for cooking and was employed with several local restaurants throughout his career. Later, he transitioned into the construction business. He was known for his love of riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, watching television shows like “Mad Chad” and “American Pickers,” and enjoying countless movies.
Randy's faith was important to him, and he loved Jesus Christ, God, and life itself. He is survived by his two sons, Jordan and Tyler; his brother, Mark; his sister, Barbara Jo; his Aunt, Dar Dawson; his Uncle, Bob Cowles; two nieces, Brittani and Jadlyn; two nephews, Joshua and Cody; as well as several cousins and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, December 6th, at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, with Reverend Kevin R. Kitto officiating. Calling hours will begin at 11:00am at the funeral home. A celebration of Randy's life will follow at the VFW on Bellew Avenue, where all are invited to attend.
