Sorry for your family’s loss. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I had the honor of taking care of Ray near the end of his time on earth. Being Kristen’s grandpa, made him a VIP initially.
Soon, he became a VIP in my heart. His simple quiet style with a touch of sassy and great sense of humor was his magic.
We’d often sit on the couch together as he reminisced.
He enjoyed the simple pleasures of a hot cup of coffee, watching the squirrels and the immense love of his family. Oh, and a good baseball cap!
He always ended our visit with “...

So sorry to hear of Ray's (Butch) passing. I always told him when I was talking to him on the phone that I loved him and he was my favorite cousin! And there are no doubts about that. He always had a joke or two, and had the most beautiful smile, with those dancing eyes of his, and laughter that would fill the room. I remember way back when he used to live next to my dad, Lee Johnston in the trailer park on 29th Avenue, with this beautiful wife Linda. Butch and my dad always used to go down...
