Elder Raymond Jones was the coolest preacher I knew. His street cred was 100—as was his ministry ethic. He could witness to the homeless as well as minister to the needs of the “saints”. He had a great sense of humor and was very supportive of his church and the ministry as a whole. My condolences and prayers to the family during this transitional season.

OBITUARY FOR RAYMOND JONES
Elder Raymond Jones, 75, a resident of Aliquippa PA, passed reached his Heavenly Home on Friday August 13,2021. Raymond was born March 11, 1946. In October,1971 Raymond received the Lord Jesus Christ.
Raymond was a member of the Church In The Round for fifty years where he worked with the Bethesda Boys home, conducted home Bible Study in New Castle, the Church’s Satellite Ministry In New Castle, member of the Minister’s Board and eventually of the Elder’s Board and Founder of the Church’s A.V. C. (Audio Video Communications) Department and the Radio Room, Founder of Taking It To The Street.
He was a fulltime Staff member at the Church in the Round
He is preceded in death by his sister Eula Davis and his brother Sylvester.
He leaves to honor his memory his wife Sandra, his sister Judy, one daughter Laray. 5 sons David, Damon, Joshua, Melvin, and Jesse (Falonda). He also leaves a Granddaughter Ashley and a Great Grand Daughter Layla and a host of Church Family and Friends.
Family and Friends are being received at Pitts Funeral Home, 920 Franklin Avenue Saturday August 21, 2021 from 2-4pm.
